17 years ago a group of film students took on one of the most ambitious projects Chapman University has ever seen: a feature film.

Despite great financial obstacles, inexperience and Chapman labeling the film, “too ambitious,” the team pressed on. By 2008, Happy Holidays had turned a profit, secured distribution and screened in theaters across the country. Almost two decades later, Happy Holidays alumni have won Oscars, Emmys & Grammys, made multi-million dollar features and run production companies.
